Our Club

Founded in 2001 with a home of Greatham Village and a vision to provide a safe and competitive environment for football in the community. Growth over the years since our inception meant a move was needed and we have been pleased to call Brierton Community Centre home for some time now, our partnership has enabled access to the best possible facilities in the area and we were pivotal in the Sport England Funding for the 3G facility at Brierton, which is utilised by all in the community.

We continue to strive to provide the best possible footballing environment to this day and have teams that compete in the Tesside Junior Football Alliance and the Russel Foster Youth Leagues across ages Under 8 up to Under 18.

Our Ethos

The ethos and vision of Greatham Football Club is that the players are our most valuable asset. So our ethos centres and revolves around their future. The vision of the club is to provide, sustain and develop and also to encourage the player’s aspirations.

Our ethos is to construct first class coaching and facilities that will develop the talents of the players and coaches to their highest potential levels of achievements.

We also believe that we can in the future set a standard of excellence and surge a positive stream of construction to give the players of today the best opportunity to develop their skills. We also hope that our ethos and vision will be successful and could be used as a model of excellence that others can follow.
